7 Card Stud Poker

In 7 Card Stud Poker every player gets dealt 3 cards. It is played using a standard 52 card deck with 2 to 8 players. There are 5 bettingrounds and several things which set it apart from Texas Hold'em Poker or Omaha Poker.

The winning hand is build from any 5 from the 7 cards dealt to you.

 

Ante at 7 Card Stud Poker

Before the first card is dealt, every player is forced to post an ante.

 

Third Street at 7 Card Stud Poker

Every player gets three cards. The first 2 cards are faced down and the third is faced up. The first betting round is started by the player with the lowest faced up card. The action moves clockwise.

 

Fourth Street at 7 Card Stud Poker

The fourth card is dealt facing up too, but at this time, the player with the highest two facing up cards starts the current betting round.

 

Fifth Street at 7 Card Stud Poker

The fifth card is dealt facing up too and the player with the higest three facing up cards starts the betting round.

 

Sixth Street at 7 Card Stud Poker

The sixth card is dealt facing up. The player with the highest 4 facing up cards begins in this betting round.

 

The River at 7 Card Stud Poker

The last card is dealt facing down. There is one final round, started by the player with the highest 4 facing up cards. Once betting is complete, all remaining players show their cards. The player with the highest ranking 5 card hand wins the pot.
