Hand ranking

Well, the Basic thing is to know the hand ranking, so here is a short overview of the hands. Beginning with the biggest and going to the lowest.

 

Royal Flush

 

The Royal Flush is the highest flush and the highest hand. Ace, King, Queen, Jack and ten in the same suit.

 

Straight Flush

 

A straight flush is a 5 card straight from the same suit.

 

Four of a kind

 

Four of a kind: 4 cards of equal rank.

 

Full House

 

The Full House contains a pair (two cards of equal rank) and a three of a kind (tree cards of equal rank).

 

Flush

 

Flush: 5 cards in the same suite.

 

Straight

 

A Straight are 5 cards from sequential range.

 

Three of a kind

 

3 of a kind: three cards of equal rank.

 

Two pair

 

Two pair are 2 cards of equal rank with another 2 cards of equal rank.

 

One Pair

 

One Pair: Two cards of equal rank.

 

High Card

 

The hand with the highest card wins. The highest of all cards is the Ace, followed by Queens, Jacks, 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3 and 2.
